He held her hand and spoke to her and took her to her son.
He told her that she should not go, it would cause her too much grief.
She had to go, she had to see, all she felt was disbelief.
She staggered through he angry crowd and saw her first born child.
His face was pale, He was drenched in blood, He was beaten and defiled.
She sang.....
This is the man who made the lame to walk.
This is the man who made the mute to talk.
He is the one who has walked where angels trod,
And He is the one who is THE SON OF GOD!
Trough pain of death she saw such peace, such love and forgiveness.
He bled and died upon that cross, His love for all confessed.
His life, His death, His resurrection all part of bigger plans.
Salvations gift came through the blood He shed for love of man.
The prophets words had been fulfilled, He sets the captives free.
once her child, but now her king, that's what He came to be.
She Sang....
This is the man who we saw raise the dead.
This is the man by whom multitudes where fed.
Jesus, my Messiah, my Savior, and friend.
Born as our Redeemer, offers life that never ends.
