The pure white redemption of God drifts in
Like snow down from Heaven.
It covers us in a blanket of comfort and peace.
It covers the dirt, the hills, and the mountains in our lives
Until they blend together in the perfect brilliance of His glory.
They fade away into the background of the horizon
As if they never really were.
But we know they were there,
We remember them.
And now, we understand deliverance.
With God, nothing is impossible!
I wrote this poem during the Ester study. We had been talking about all the prayer requests and the attacks of the Devil on the members of the study. We had discussed how this attack in Ester was aimed at the Jews and how they because to seek deliverance in a situation that seemed so dire. I was texting with Gina and Trish one morning when it started to snow. I thought about how beautiful it was and the saying "the storms of life". God has a plan for every storm. I had the whole poem written in less than 10 minutes I think. It reminds me that "the invisible things of God are clearly seen."
